About Dr. Nicole Meadows
Dr. Meadows is a 1987 University of Detroit dental Graduate, and completed her undergraduate degree at Western Michigan university. She has been in the private practice sector for the past 11 years having been an associate in several metro Detroit practices her first 10 years out of dental school. She purchased Farmington General Dentistry in 1997, and that same year she married her husband Richard, an equipment appraiser, and moved into their first home. Within the first year Dr. Meadows gave birth to their first child and graduated from Madonna University with a Masters in Science and Business administration.
Recently, Dr, Meadows has relocated to West Bloomfield, MI. Since February 1st, 2008 Dr. Meadows has been in her new state of the art location in the West Oaks Medical Building. She practices dentistry with a “biological approach”, meaning there is scientific evidence behind the way she chooses to practice dentistry. For example she won’t use any mercury silver fillings in her office. She also uses an early detection for oral cancer called Visilite. Dr. Meadows feels a healthy foundation of a smile is the most important aspect in dentistry. Periodontal disease is very important to diagnose and she states, “We make every effort to educate our patients in oral health and help manage gum disease”.
Dr. Meadows volunteers her services to JARC, a community for developmentally disabled adults, and has a pending trip to Honduras to aid the community in their dental needs. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
She is a mother of two children and enjoys her 3 dogs, 2 cats. Her hobbies are skiing, golfing and boating.
